Here is my own folktale.

One day a mentally deranged maniac built a bomb capable of blowing up the world and demanded 9.5 billion dollars in cash to defuse the bomb. Then at that time a space shuttle came in a nose dive to earth just as a way of gamma radiation hit. Then it landed and its young pilot named Chrystler Morning Star stepped out.

Chrystler Morning Star was just a normal boy until he was caught in a gamma radiation wave as he reentered earths atmosphere like he had caught the flu just a week ago and was genetically altered and was given the speed of sound and light together and then some, the strength of all people past, present, and future, he has the knowledge to do anything and everything, and his sense of nature is so good he has the power of every living or extinct animal. One day Chrystler was told to find the bomb that threatens to destroy the world.

                After long day of research he found that its not were but when to look for the bomb. So he worked day and night to build a portable time machine and finished it a day after. He traveled back in time but to far and ended up in the time of the dinos. On the way he saw he dropped his machine and ran all the way around the continent and he was so fast he split the 1 big continent into 7 smaller continents. Soon he got to his destination in time and tried to defuse the bomb.

                When he saw the bomb he ran up to it only to find it guarded by 120 men. The fight was fierce, and one by one the men guarding it fell down. Only that they were like ants. It was they fell and got back up or they fell and 3 more took their place. The timer on the bomb was ticking down,”10…9…8…7…” he had to settle this quick. Then a loud boom shook the area and all the guards fell and no more came. Finally he could defuse the bomb. “4…3…2…1…” it stopped and he never touched it, then he saw his time travel machine was interfering with it. The chance he had hopped for came and he defused the bomb saving the world like no one else could.

                He was a hero. He had saved the world and turned in the most wanted villain throughout the continents. He finally returned home and kicked back and turned on the T.V. Finally he could rela… “HELP! Some one is threatening to blow up Missouri!” Here we go again.

here is what i think about school uniforms

Should we wear school uniforms?!?!?!?

Would you want the color and fun taken out of your school by school uniforms? Bet you wouldn’t.  Many kids might say no and some might say yes. Well in miss storms class of CES (Concordia elementary school) 8 /17 say no and 9/17 says yes but the ones who say no are smart in most people’s view. Well if you want to know why some schools say yes and others say no this is the paper for you.

Well there are pros and cons but most are a con. Here are the reasons many others say no to the dull uniforms. 76% of public schools do not wear school uniforms which means the other 24% do. Here are some quotes of the cons in the class of miss storms 6^th grade at Concordia elementary school, “I hate the idea of our school wearing uniforms, they would dull up the day and there would be more mental harassment.” I say, “I would hate it if we had them, it would be like trying to find the differences between the atoms of the exact same element.” Says John Daugherty, “I would leave the school thinking I was like everyone else, I wouldn’t stand out and I’m a standout kind of guy.” says Joseph Magallanes, well that’s other kid opinions that are against uniforms and 95% agree with them.

Well here are the reasons the pros say they want uniforms, “Uniforms would keep the harassment levels down on the physical category.” says Jazlyn meek, “I would get to wear a tie and I wouldn’t get teased for physical appearance.” says Ammon Curtis, “Everyone would like each other and there would be more school pride.” says Andrew (drew) Hon,  “They would make us look more civilized and there would be less harassment , There are many harassment related deaths and suicides in kids because of harassment (ex. A kid jumped in front of a moving R.V. because of bullying in his school about physical appearance.)” Says Cameron (cam) Cooper. Well that is the pro side and most would disagree. There still would be physical and mental harassment around the school.

School uniforms would be more expensive and there would be no expression. There are some uniforms that can be $100 and the cheapest are $50. Those prices are insane in most people’s view. There would be no expression at all; almost all kids express their individuality through their choice of clothing. Take that away you take away their personality, life, and fun. And that is pretty much a kid’s whole social life.

Well that’s not all the facts on the con side have but I want your say in this debate. So what do you think should our school have uniforms? Some still think not. Good bye and hope you sided with the cons.
